You really believe Juve is a step up from Chelsea? FFS. Personally I would sell him at the right price. Never been a massive fan of Oscar and I don't think he's actually improved that much since joining us. Has the odd bit of brilliance here and there but not often enough for me.
It would have to be David Luiz silly money to sell IMO. Oscar is only 23 and should only get better over the next 5 years. However if we were able to swap him with say a Pogba and push Cesc into the 10 role, arguably that would result in a better starting 11. I really rate the lad though and would love to keep him.
Depends on what constitutes steps up and down. He would likely earn more money with us, more chance of European silverware, probably equal chance of domestic silverware and arguably would play with better players with us. He's certainly in a better league in the P.L than Seria A as well. Juve are historically a bigger club than us though.
It definitely is though. He'd be moving to a weaker league, manager and team. Maybe even salary in the long term. I'm not debating how big a club Juve are, because they're huge, but they are clearly a step down from Chelsea at the moment.
You had invested in a billion worth of players and were far superior to all but 2 of the other teams in the league. Even with a defensive set up and quality forwards you can still win 4 0, especially against much of the dross. So.. how many goals you score in individual games are an outcome, it has nothing to do with how you were set up. The proof is in the pudding, without a front man like Costa to play in jose's defensive system, you fell short last season. This season with Costa and you are out in front, Drogba did same in those earlier years plus you had goal machine Lamps
