OK, which other club do I support now then..?

I know it was a joke, but it did make me feel a little queasy to compare that outfit to my football club.
I'm really chuffed that Ronald has come out and made that sort of comment. It's the sort of thing I've been dying to hear from an expert who will be reported. I think I've made enough noise on here [or possibly in previous forums when talking about Saints directly was a painful experience] about smaller clubs having the imagination to take on the glamour clubs, but my voice is nothing, and nor is anyone at supporter level who shares that opinion. Most supporters of smaller clubs, in my experience, shrug their shoulders, turn on SKY, and watch Arsenal play ManU, for example, and fake some sort of preference. When they have no real emotional connection at all, by and large. Watching football really shouldn't be about alleviating boredom and getting caught up in it.

Kruegar said in an interview recently that if a professional club is not playing football to win then what is it doing it for..? I really, really like that attitude. Koeman is suggesting that if other clubs can't out spend the bigger clubs to beat them, then they have to do it in another, more intelligent, way. Another great attitude. And Ronald has seen enough at SFC to realise that it is possible, and it obviously ties in with his own philosophy too. Les Reed chose really well. Here's hoping for a long association with the Koemans [including Erwin] And with his attitude, Kruegar can stay for as long as he likes too.

The Premier League is the best division in the world, it's a sort of Joy Division.

Longer interview tomorrow. Agrees with what Koeman says.....he's not required to get into Europe this season (though obviously nice if he does).

All it is though is Ronald, brother Erwin, and Jan Kluitenberg. Just Saints staff enjoying themselves.
