Exactly..I questioned why on earth they would even have these glasses in the first place...I would have come out in a rash if it had touched my lips..

All bad decisions aside, he's not fit to be a referee. When he's looking at away fans, smiling and shaking his head proves is not fit. How unprofessional. Interacting with the crowd instead of focusing on the game

NOT FIT TO REFEREE ON ANY LEVEL

Exactly 100%, although some fans would have you believe it's only Sunderland...

There's no conspiracy imo, just the worst standard of refereeing this country has ever seen. It's nothing personal against us, just to many Jobsworths allowed in charge of games.

Look at the evidence mate..Almost 60% of all his Premier League sending offs have been against Sunderland...He has also been involved in absolutely loads of shocking decisions in our games, and I can't really think off one big decision that he has given in our favour. So do I believe that he has a grudge against us? Damn right I do..

It`s not just the players he`s sent off. What needs to be added is the opposition players he should have sent off and didn`t.

Of course we notice it. It`s our team. It`s the one we watch. <doh>

If it works out even that doesn`t mean it`s good. It means it`s consistently bad.

The standard generally is shocking but Marriner and Friend are very very poor.
Neither of them should referee any prem matches, not just ours.

Not for the first time either, he made exactly the same mistake earlier but got away with it, he is a liability defending, like most wingers to be fair , but clearing the ball across the face of your own goal is asking for trouble, we have a few back turners in our squad as well, elemmentery mistakes cost games
