Reading the opinions as to whether Turner will be available for transfer, just a couple of points. Brown and O'Shea will make no difference to Turner's selection situation, they directly replace Onouha and Mensah who have both gone back to their clubs after loans. Turner's injury has nothing to do with training methods only the fact that he tried to demolish the goal post with his knee in the Everton game. Turner is well liked by the fans and the Manager who is building a SQUAD for a TEAM game, difficult concept for a Hull fan I know. Why would Turner want to drop a division anyway ?
Why not post in the existing thread? Actually, why not sod off and worry about your own club giving out Bullard-esque contracts to injury prone 32 year olds.
No, just enjoying spending the £45m he made from the Bent/Henderson sales. Bringing in decent players for yet another successful season !
Not saying he will. But Turner is nowhere near the player he was when Hull City had him. If i were a Sunderland fan i would be worried. Your signinjg are poor. Keiran Westwood from an average championship team.Coventry City. Seb Larrsson and Craig Gardner from relegated Birmingham City Conor Wickham from another average championship team. Ipswich. Alot to prove and alot of pressure for a kid. Wes Brown and John O'Shea spend as much time injured as they do playing. Wes Brown more so. Losing Jordan Henderson and Darren Bent has and will hurt you hard. I wont even mention Fraizer Campbell. Good Luck as ya gonna need it. It could well be a long hard struggle this season. Who will score your goals ?? As of now i expect a bottom 8 finish. Your lucky there are much poorer teams in the PL. As for good football by Sunderland ? You have to go back to the Bob Stokoe era for that.
So they sign John O'Shea, Wes Brown and Connor Wickham, plus a couple of overrated one-season wonders from relegated Birmingham, and now they're going to have a "really successful season"?
superblackcatforever comes out with some bollocks, but that post is truly embarrassing. Do you know anything about football at all?
Westwood was quite possibly the best keeper outside the Premier League last season and is a good signing. Both excellent players and on the cheap. He had Premier League teams queuing up to sign him, he may or may not make it, but he's certainly not average. Wes Brown - 15 appearances for the best team in England last season, including two in the Champions League. John O'Shea, 33 appearances for the best team in England, including seven in the Champions League and eight international appearances. As much time injured injured as playing? Righto. Henderson was sold for two three three times what he was worth, it was good business. You are more than welcome to shoot down Mackems that come on our board and to give an opinion on a player, but you went so far with your comments that you just made a twat of yourself. We'd kill to have to have those players sign for us, they sold their players for more than they are worth, while signing players that were worth more than they paid. I hope they have a **** season, I can't stand Bruce, but I at least know a decent player when I see one.
'The FRENCH TICKLER' is on the HDM site I have noticed. I've never posted on there and never will - it's full of morons like him who know nothing about football
Nothing like that and I'm more than happy to have fans of other clubs shot down on our board, I just find it a bit embarrassing when ridiculous and wildly inaccurate claims are made.
I'm afraid so, You should have gone for Norwich, Swansea and DQPR, or West Brom and Wolves if you didn't want to go for the completely obvious.
