  4. I like my food but as I've said before, I'm not a big McDonalds fan (bar when the Big Tasty is on). I just get out numbered.

    Same here.
McDonalds tastes like crotch. Their burgers are thin and dry, their lettuce brown and soggy and there cola pump tastes like bong water.
But as I have a 4 year old daughter who has developed a chicken McNugget addiction, I tend to get overuled.
Damn McDonald and their advertising to young children with clowns and happy meal toys.
I literally prefer ANY of the other mainstream franchises over McDonalds, Burger King and KFC both kick McDonalds ass in my opinion.

if I want a burger, I go to Burger King, If I want chicken I go to KFC, if I want botcholism and a free toy I go to McDonalds

  6. I have a seven and five year old who have a similar addiction but its more to happy meals than just nuggets. They switch between nuggets, burger and cheese burger but they both want that damn ****ty toy <grr>

PS...the burger I got on the Friday morning (11am ish) was actually really nice. I'm guessing it was because they'd only just finished serving breakfast but it actually looked like the picture (never does usually) and the salad tasted fresh too <yikes>

Like you said, probably because they had just started serving the lunch menu, so the lettuce etc was fresh.
Most of the time when you go in there and ask for a Big Mac you get one that has been sat in that chute for 45 minutes and its warm, the lettuce brown, the bread soggy, and the burger meat dry because the fat has all leaked into the bread.

    haha :emoticon-0109-kiss:

XL Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal from BK is the way
Or the Chicken Variety Meal from KFC (love me some carcass, I feel all manly ripping meat off the bone :emoticon-0165-muscl)

  10. Not a fan on BK either but that's more to do with cost.

Love KFC though. I have a large Supercharger meal with Pepsi Max, a Zinger Tower burger and four hot wings :)

Agree with you on this btw.
BK hiked their prices up a couple years back which is annoying.
McDonalds is still dirt cheap, but for a reason, because its swill.

If I had to pick one I would defo go KFC tbh, love their gravy too!

  12. When I take the family to Mcdonalds, it cost me around £20-£23. Last time I went BK, it cost me around £35! I can go to the pub for proper meals for that <laugh>

this is a lesson to us all.

    1. never ever go through drive through... you WILL get served the dregs.

    2. decide what to get only via looking at the chute.

    3. if in doubt order a special.. say "hold the" and enforce a freshly made burger on them.

However i find on the rare occasions we get such crap that its the chips that make me feel sick... they are so lovely... sigh... but 5 mins after i feel sick.

Not had KFC in ages but I do really like it.

I I only ever have the McDonald's bacon or sausage and egg mcmuffin. Would never have a burger from there.

If if I wanted a burger is go to uncle SAMs... Think that's more a local thing so don't know if you guys would have/be aware of it.

    Their chilli burgers are brilliant.
