I could pick 5 odds on shots, and most of them would probably win, but that's not what it's all about, it's about betting to ensure a profit. I could have £500 on 10 different horses over a week, and have 9 losers, but if 1 wins at 12/1 then I'm £1500 in front for the week. That's how us pro gamblers work. It's not about being able to pick the winner of every race, it's about winning long term. It doesn't matter how good you are as a gambler, you will never be able to pick the winner of every race regularly. So it's about ensuring small profit margins on all your bets. I probably made only about 10% on average throughout a year on all the money I laid out. But if your betting £5000 a week, then that's £500 tax free profit a week on average. This is why getting your bets on at the biggest price possible is so important. Getting on at 12/1 in the morning about an 8/1 winner can be the difference between winning and losing on the week. You don't need to go through the old 606 boards to see proof of my skills as a gambler, look on my profile page on here, as there are various posters referring to my old days on 606, and asking me to tip them horses. Il even attach a few screenshots of messages I've managed to dig out, the first one is a message on my Bet365 account, where they have restricted my bets. The most I can bet with them is about £5, as they know from my betting activity that I'm a pro. The second is an email from Victor Chandler who are also to scared to take a bet off me, as they know how much of a threat a pro like myself is to there business

I didn't realise it would get you into trouble, would it help if I apologised for that. I had had a few to many beers that night, and read all the abuse I was getting from Jiffy and co on the Mike Tyson thread.
