Just watch coutinho a goal against Spurs last year.... Flanno starts it with an awesome cruyft turn snd 50 yard run!

guy is class and super underrated. If he was Flannio from Spain everyone would be raving about him

He has a great range of passing.

  3. That's how I see it. Jimmy keeps saying he's only rated because he's a local lad but I think that goes against him. Most fans love a 'inho' type player.

I read an Echo article earlier and the writer see's Manquillo as a CB, and considers him as an option for RCB when Can moves into midfield.

I would feel that manquillo has shown some brains and game intelligence but itsn't great going forward... he is tall so again... he could suit RCB well.

    he's not an attacking RB

Actually it's just the opposite. It's because he's English that you don't rate him.

Manquillo has done nothing to suggest he's better than Flanagan at all. He's done well (pretty damn well for a 19 year old kid moving to a new club AND new country) but he's certainly not better than the Flanagan I remember from last season. Far from it. Your bias against certain players is frankly getting a bit boring <ok>

There's a difference between bias and calling a spade a spade. I don't think there is anything wrong with wanting better quality players in the team, rather than settling with mediocrity.

If Manquillo was sh*t, then I'll be the first one to say just that. I'm a massive Markovic fan but I would prefer Ibe playing in the RWB position. I have no bias - I want what's best for the team.

I'm not sure its right to call the position RWB in our team. I dont know what we should call it but to me it seems a bit to advanced to midfield to be wing back. Maybe we should pay tribute to Rodgersand call it false wing back or reverse wing back. False 2's and 3's.

markovic is the next jason mcateer

c'mon lads lets be fair nothing rodgers is doing is new or amazing. napoli playied 3-4-3 for quite a bit in italy prior to Benitez arriving there and evans played 3-5-2 in the 90s for us for bloody years.

When we are defending the wide 2 are playing as full backs for sure. when we are attacking they are in midfield.
