Nah, Villa are utterly pointless as a club right now. Not as pointless as you, I agree, but still pointless.
Sorry I hurt your feeling re Aston Villa, you probably were a die hard Villa fan until 2004, but as I said, I really don't so any point to Villa anymore. They can close that club down and it would make no real difference, they have become that pointless. We can trade insult all day if you want, but that's just my view on Astom Villa, they are an utterly pointless club.
But you're using completely the wrong word and your explanations don't fit the definition of 'pointless'. Using your logic, Arsenal are utterly pointless in Europe and are only there for the purpose of financial gain for the owners of the club. You never give anyone a real challenge in the CL past the group stages/knockout stages so therefore it is pointless you being there. You could not make top four and it would make no real difference (seriously, what do you even mean it would make no real difference?).
We are utterly pointless in Europe, there is no disagreement there, and until Wenger is sacked, we will continue to be. Just like Villa and the PL.
So based on a realistic factor you won't be pointless anymore? Surely the same applies with any other club lower down in the league than the 'mighty' Arsenal? If strong investment/a good manager comes in they won't be pointless anymore?
Pointless; Lacking meaning; senseless: a pointless remark; a pointless coincidence. 2. Ineffectual; useless: a pointless effort to prevent discussion of the scandal. Not sure how a club can be useless or lacking meaning? They obviously do want to stay in the division but they want to do it by spending as little as possible. I see what Sanj is trying to say but I wouldn't say pointless is the right word. Like I said, lacking ambition and drive is probably more appropriate phrasing.
Depends on how the new manager does, if he manages to beat some big teams in the CL, then we are no longer just making up the number. We have a manager problem, their problem like Newcastle is an owner one. Both Lerner and Ashely are seemingly happy to milk the cash cow that is the PL, I,do not see that changing for a while. Sadly Newcastle won't go down, but there is a good chance of Villa ****ing off, which would benefit the PL.
Drogs, Sanj may be a ****, but he's our ****, so why don't you just **** off and troll somewhere else. You haven't posted here since mid January and that was to start with the personal insults as well. Sanctimonious knob.
Wondered how long it'd be before some bellend on here cried troll, it's what usually happens when a rival fan has an argument on here. Utterly pathetic. I called his view moronic, he was the one who started getting personal. If you don't like rival fans posting on your board I suggest YOU **** off to an Arsenal only forum, you boring arsehole. How's that for personal?
This has nothing to do with rival fans, so don't try and group yourself with potential skirts to hide behind. This is about you only ever coming onto our forum to start trouble, knowing you are immune because you are a pal of our mods. You're simply a scumbag knob jockey who needs to trot on back to that graveyard called the Chelsea board. bye bye laddy
I've gotta say - I wouldn't actually mind having Villa home or away in the quarter finals of the FA Cup. Dim Tim rolled over for us both home and away when he took temporary charge of Spurs. I'm sure he'd do so again if we faced them.
Of course it has something to do with rival fans, becuase a lot of people across this site also think the same as I do. Anyone coming on here with a view that disagrees with certain members is instantly branded a wum or troll. I think it speaks volumes about you as a person to complain about personal insults being thrown about, yet are happy to call someone a scumbag for daring to oppose someone's view on here. You are a perfect portrayal of the things you've called me in the past. An ignorant c*nt who should log off and sign up to an Arsenal only forum. and you can bye bye all you like, I'm not going anywhere.
I would love Villa to get relegated. Give another team in the Championship a chance to take their mantle. A Brentford or Bournemouth would not take their Premier League status so lightly and it would freshen up the league. Relegation can also do some big clubs a favour, i.e. sorting out finances, getting rid of toxic foreigners with ridiculous wages. Newcastle and West Ham both went down when they didn't expect to, sold lots of their big earners, got the feel good feeling back and now they contribute to the league.
****wood was trying to palm off defeat to Stoke as being a 'poor game for both sides'. Well here's a newsflash Timmy, the opposition were poor and still took 3 points off of you at home.
