Saw from the head on that he trotted away mate. That will have left its mark though! Be sore in the morning.

A bit unfortunate with GOLD PATROL there Boris, the weakening horse Oscars Business took him way back from a nice position on the home turn. I don't think he would have won but it almost certainly cost you place money. One to note for next time for sure!

Only so many times you can say that about a horse! Thats last 2 ive been on him. He slipped and nearly went at the 4rth, and as you say, any chance he had was lost on the turn in, hes nowhere near well enough handicapped to overcome that but he ran on ok in the straight and I do think he is well up to winning a race based on his form last season with Jetson, Inis Mein, Saddlers Risk at Punchestown and on that second to Mikael with Mourad behind giving them 7 pounds. I though he was the class horse in the race today and my best chance but id like to see the handicapper drop him a couple more. I dont bet them e/w so place money doesnt concern me, if they cant win, beat the further the better!

Didnt see Rawnaq coming! Gilgamboa had to be opposed at 2/5 I thought, was thoroughly exposed as nowhere near top class last time and had no right to be that short in a Grade 2. I know he looked good at Limerick but that is looking like a false race. Still, Dromnea outclassed as I feared he might be.

And what about Very Wood? Tailed off all season, typical Noel Meade. Has to come into the RSA now with his festival form from last year but I doubt Cooper will be seriously considering deserting Don Poli.

Newsreader did not improve on his comeback, doubt today was the day, maybe one for a handicap at one of those right handed dog tracks they have, the sharp bendy ones.

Pretty sure that wasn't the real Gilgamboa we seen today. Might never see him again as it's just possible racing the freak AKA Un de Sceaux has permanently broken him.

Be surprised if VERY WOOD didn't head to the 4 miler!

You might be right, hadnt seen the post race comments, they all seem to think 4 miler.

Doesnt say much about the Albert Bartlett as a race does it when the previous years winner runs in the plodders race.

Crikey, 6/4 SP. Not bad for an odds on shot.
