I don't know about being a tactical genius (not saying he is not) but it's looking pretty clear that Jokanovic is building a great team spirit right across the squad. Cannot wait for Saturday now
Bolton manager Neil Lennon: "I have got to get it through to these players that if they are not going to come with us, they are going to have to find employment elsewhere. "It may sound harsh but that's the reality of football. We did brilliantly to get back to 3-3, we were attacking and five seconds later the ball is in our net. "It is not good enough at any level. When you get to 3-3 with a couple of minutes left, take the point, see the game out." Interesting comment on an exciting game.
Just watched the FLS. What a game! Abdi with so many chances and Gomes really in form. On another note, in the Blackpool v Forest game did you see the Blackpool defender being CORRECTLY sent off for being the last defender by a certain L Probert? The amount of time he took to make the decision to send off...had to get that one right for the sake of his career...
Well, something special must be going to happen this season, because we have won two (yes 2) away League games in Lancashire in the same season for the first time since we beat Rochdale (3-1) & Oldham (3-0) in 1973 yes 1973!!!!
Cannot post this video, but it is nice to see our dour head coach was not moved by the winning goal. Oh I have posted it.
but how many time have we had to play 2 or more teams from Lancashire plus you have to take into account we have lost more away games than won
nice to see him expressing himself eh..... shows how much he cares... i wasnt so sure a few weeks back
There are rakes of Lancashire teams in all the leagues and they can do anything they like and the press still think they're the bees knees.
Who is it that chops down Le Fondre just before Clough takes the final shot? It doesn't look like accidental.
Over the last 40 years or so, we have played the following Lancashire teams on their ground: Blackpool, Preston, Blackburn, Burnley, Southport, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester City, Manchester Utd., Liverpool, Everton (yes I know that some are now classed as in Greater Manchester and Merseyside but traditionally they are all Lancastrian clubs. The only clubs now in the League we haven't played on their ground are Accrington, Morecambe and Fleetwood. Stockport County and Tranmere Rovers do not count. We have almost invariably played at least 2 of these clubs in a season and not since 1973 beaten both of them......
