The Blitz was open 79/80, The Playground came later(mid 80's), the same time that Phil Sallon was running The Mud Club.

I was talked into persevering with growing the beard, so I just had a tidy up and had a bit of a head shave to make it look longer, I'm very happy with it.

Air on Newland Ave are very good if anyone needs their hairy bits trimming.<ok>

Did they do you a package, all in one deal or just do yer beard??

Did you go for a full wet shave, with the razor, and would you recommend it?

I always thought it was a lie but took me around 3 months to get past the OMFG THIS IS ITCHY ON MY FACE stage, now, I barely notice it all, although my missus gets the hump cos I apparently pay it more attention than I pay her.

I got the hair and beard trim done together(not literally, they did the hair first) and it was all done with clippers, they don't do wet shaves(if you're growing a beard, then wet shaving just makes it more itchy on the bits that grow back).

    Aha gotcha.

Evening the bastard thing up can be fun sometimes, so getting a pro to do it is probably worth it.

    The Pla
The playground was never really a success, the Blitz was the club that spawned most if the 80's new romantic bands, it was 'the' club of the day

    Thanks for your input, ****.

Judging by your posts, you seem a little hard of thinking, so seemed reasonable to help you out.

You're welcome and thanks for confirming the assessment of you.

I remember going to the Camden palace in the early 80s (83?) which I'm sure was what Blitz was renamed and Strange also ran the place then.

More of an image and a front man than a musician but that studio band still produced some good stuff due to Ure and other members.
