    Matt Mills to Leicester for £4.5m rising to £5.5m!!!

    For Gods sake! He's 25, out of contract next Summer and has never played in the Premiership!!

    that is daft. if things go wrong at leicester, they will go very very wrong.

    he is an excellent defender at this level but even so, that's silly money.

    They are throwing everything at going up this year. It could all go tits up. I expect them also to pay big money for the Yak at some point.

    It was £4m for Turner, but a Championship club paying £4.5-5.5m for a player is bonkers.

    He has not signed for them yet. He is just travelling upto Leicester to speak to Sven.
    It may not end the way you think. He was born in Leicester but i still feel that a PL club will hijack the deal.

    Sven to be sacked by Xmas as Leicester near the bottom. So say my tea bags. :emoticon-0103-cool:

    wont be the last of this kind of signing at leicester as its gonna snowball i think. danns, mills, nugent are all held in a decent enough regard and send out enough of a statement of intent to attract more 'name' players.

    time to see wether sven is just a bespectaled lothario or can he do a hannibal with a ramshackle bunch of renegades.

    Matt Mills heading for Wolverhampton as Leicester fail to agree terms with Mills. So the rumour mill has it and hopeful wolvers fans. Well they do need a replacement for Moyokoulo afterall. lol

    SSN - 1:02 Update: Following Sky Sports' earlier report that Reading have accepted an offer from Leicester City for Matt Mills, both clubs have confirmed a deal has been agreed, with the Royals revealing that the defender requested permission to speak to Sven Goran Eriksson's side.

    If someone's going to nick this deal, they're going to have to move quickly.

    Both clubs moaned as they felt Turner had been undersold.
