I don't know the ins and outs of what was said and tbh i'm not interested. The mods do a good job that i could not do and fair play for the work they put in. We are all different on here with age/religion/political/philosophical views and in any forum there is always a danger of clashes. As long as you are not being completely abusive/racist/homophobic/political then whether we agree or disagree we should respect all views.
Otherwise good posters will leave (as they have done in the past) and the site will end up like the chelsea one 'Tumbleweed'.
The thing that i like about this site especially from the old days is the different array of posters we have and if we lose that the site will die.
We should all remember that this is just a forum a virtual platform where we discuss our team and people should remember that.
A good example was my last forum meet where i decide to come along and say hello. I thought after all the years of posting i would make an effort. The first person i met on the day who is a well known poster on here, (by the way i'm not talking about Tooting/Norway and the Aussie boy who fab to meet on the day). said "i know we have had our differences in the past" WTF! The first thing! As if i give a sh@t about something i posted 5 years ago, It's a forum! I have been drunk and posted and thought the next day what a kn@b i am for writing that. People have said things about me on here and i have been called all sorts of stuff (some quite nasty) but i accept that as it's a forum. I don't take it personally.
If people take things too seriously you shouldn't post on here.
