    As the title says I want to know who is the best all round football in the Premier League. Taking into account the impact they have on the team the way they manage to drag their team to victory to all round skill on the ball, passing ability and goalscoring ability.

    Not a bad shout. Vidic is a goal threat at set pieces, gets in quality blocks, is superb at defensive headers and plain inspirational.

    Taking in all of the criteria mentioned it has to be Steven Gerrard.

    Before you guys jump down my throat...

    all except the last two seasons Liverpool have been in the top 4. top 4 is a frigging prestigious position

    OK on a lot of occasions we have finished 4th but if you look at the teams above us they have all have more then one stand out player

    Arsenal: Fabregas, Henry, RVP

    Man Utd: Ferdinand, Scholes, Giggs, Rooney, Ronaldo, Beckham

    Chelsea: Terry, Cole, Drogba, Lampard, Cech

    Liverpool: Torres, Gerrard, Reina

    Torres has been rubbish for the last 18 months and it's been pretty much Gerrard that has kept us in with a chance of top 4 and even though we haven't won as much as most of the above teams his singular performances have been a class above
