Sweet, WBA have delivered their 1 good game in 6 in the cup. This is good for the league and the cup imo.
Stoke and West Ham were two of the teams left in the cup I was afraid of. Both out! I'm feeling a bit under the weather here, think I might have Cup Fever!!!!
WBA were great today. That Pulis is a magician! Brom will quickly start climbing out of trouble now. I can see Villa doing the same. We need to start picking up points quickly! Next week will be a real tough game!
Form rarely changes dramatically, both teams are poor to average ............ Villa are the worst of the two imo.
He did the same with palace last season as he took over. I'd love for us to have abit of consistency in the league for the rest of season. Sherwood taking over intrigues me, I'd be suprised if they picked up points quickly. That club has no identity ATM, Atleast SAFC packs out full houses and away from home too!
i agree ,getting rid of lambert i still say was not good for us ,wba look like they are getting very much better as a team and now look like they have goals in them
We have to worry about ourselves, if the players were looking at the lambert sacking and thinking it's not good for the team then I'm sorry but their not professional footballers and don't play for the jersey. I liked WBA fight back against burnley, Atleast pullis has the team picking up points consistently.
Exactly, anyone would have thought it was out of our hands. There's still 13 games left. That's 39 points to play for. Worrying about other teams managerial changes is a tad negative for me. Fa cup tie coming up with a place in the quaters for the winners so I'm off to get ready for my train. Gerrin!
I'm not worried about other managerial changes, merely reflecting the fact that there are many examples of teams having a material points benefit from a change of management, and picking up 10 points or so at this stage of the season will see teams climb clear of trouble. Pulis has form for this! Who knows the effect Sherwood will have at Villa but I recall he did quite well at Spurs, I think. We are in a real dogfight now and next weeks game is massive! Tbh, the way we are at home, I'd rather be playing them away. Yes, its still firmly in our hands and yes I do believe we will be safe. It wouldn't be us if we didn't make it hard for oursrlves!
