Bristol City manager Steve Cotterill told BBC Radio Bristol: "It should be a good game between two good teams, plus a cracking atmosphere. "They've had a great season so far. If you look at where they are in the league, and their cup runs, it's been fantastic. "Nigel Clough is a good manager. He's done well there, and at Derby before. "He's a young, English manager and I really like him for how straight he is." Clough is 48. Cotterill is 50. Steve is having a laff in't he?
"He's a young, English manager and I really like him for how straight he is." Are you thinking ageism or homophobia?
Neither. SC does occasionally say some weird things. It is surprising how some people have "off the wall ideas" about the definition of words such as young and old. Perhaps it is because SC started managing at a much younger age than son of Brian.
wish I was that young when I was that age we had 7 scots in our squad Dicks was manager and Cashley in goal...AND BITE YER LEGS OFF NORMAN !!!!
Tough game today and they shouldn't be underestimated despite being nearly 20 points behind us. I will be relieved when its 16.55 and we have another 3 points towards the title.
I said it wouldn't be an easy game, but didn't expect that result either. Despite taking the lead I thought we were poor overall for most of the game compared to recent performances......Port Vale should have been the warning sign... Predictable that the others lost too, so not the end of the world, hopefully just a minor blip.
The best team won and fair play to them, second half they were by far the better side. Us very very poor,i hope just an offday. I said us and sheff utd would be top two,do not under underestimate them.
