You seem to be questioning the continuity of comics.

It's not an ability she had in the comics. She could phase herself and other stuff, but she couldn't send people's conciousness back in time.

You miss the point - since when did sticking to the same old same old ever mean anything in the comic world?

Oh I see what you mean. Well no I agree with you, it's part of the fun of comics. But I think what a lot of fans look for in a film adaptation are the little details and nods towards the original work. The fact that the directors decided to give Kitty a new power just to fit the story line was a massive plot hole, it made no sense, especially when they could've just invented a new mutant to do it given the relatively small amount of screen time she got.

I'm a huge fan of the X-men universe, I've been reading them since I was little and things like that annoy me, probably more than they should. The guy that played Pyro in X2 and X3 annoyed me an arl, he's supposed to be Aussie and a bit of a mentalist, but in X3 he was a bit of a dick who spent most of the film sucking up to Magneto.

The sarcasm and humour seem to be a little too much in that clip, you have to get the balance right in those sort of films, like they did in Guardians of the Galaxy. If the Deadpool film is like that for two hours it will just be dull.

I was saying this the other day at work. We were talking about a few films, and it came up how many films now are either (based on) true stories (Unbroken, American Sniper, Dallas Buyer's Club, Wolf of Wall Street, etc), or remakes of old films. It's like there's some sort of writers' strike going on again and they're trying to hide it from everyone.

When the creator is apologising for how bad it's been you know it's not good (as he did for either the 2nd or 3rd series). If he's got his head back into it it'll be good though.

I wouldn't mind remakes as such if they follow the story correctly. Like I am Legend which they have made 3 times now and never once have the gotten the story even remotely close to the book. Will Smith's character in the book is supposed to be the bad guy and is executed in the end of it as he has been running around murdering the new humanity (vampires) as he is the last of the old humanity (humans). He is the boogey man ("I am Legend" ) that parents tell their children about that if you are bad he will come and murder you.

Things like Aliens, Predator and Dexter also never followed the story line from the books and comics. It would be nice if they at least started following the stories properly if they are going to use other works as their inspiration.

They think Writers Block is something they should place their necks upon; having watched the beginnings of an awful lot of ****e recently, perhaps they should.

Maybe if Anderson gets her kit off, like in recent productions she's been involved with, could be worth it.Having said that,Eva Green could be the new Scully....yeah

Ugh why can't they just leave stuff the **** alone? Its just lazy regurgitation.

I'd join up to CTWD in a heartbeat if they organised a protest against the abomination that is going to be the new ghostbusters. All women lead roles. Frig me, why?

I know what a stupid idea, its not just that their all women, they are all terrible actresses as well.

Its on course to be one of the worse re-makes ever.

The moment that the late great Harold Ramis passed on, the Ghostbusters remake/sequel should've been scrapped.

Doesn't Gillian Atkinson have a local connection - something to do with Walkington? Meanwhile, we're currently halfway through our second box set of Twin Peaks. we did watch it when it originally came out but there are huge chunks of it that we've forgotten. Series one has its moments but things start to get really surreal in series two and the comedy really starts to flow. Is the talked of series a remake or an extension of the original?

It's an extension. They've even brought back David Lynch and half the original cast.
