You realise that only works for U23s? For it to apply you have to offer them the new contract on at least the same money as they're already on, so there'd be a good chance they'd sign again and we'd have to pay them the wages whether we wanted the player or not. The players we wouldn't want we'll have been trying to offload anyway and there's been no interest. Are you expecting them to catch Hearts, or to beat Rangers in the playoffs?
