Is it not a case as we saw with Phillips that wingers and attacking mid fielders thrive off confidence , swp has had a massive dip in confidence for years . You never know there is still a quality player In there just needs to be handled in the correct way to re install that positive winning attitude . You dnt play for England Chelsea and Man City and be **** surely .

The qpr curse struck him in a big way I believe . Previous managers havnt done enough

Not sure it's worth learning to spell his name correctly for three and a half months, but I'll try to do better.

Saw the whole game on TV. Thought he did perfectly ok, not match winning, or useless, all right. He was part of some good passing moves, going forward, very nice skill to break away from 2 Sunderland players and run forward from the RB position, hit one good hard cross that OBZ could have scored from, and did ok defensively when moved back too RB. Thought he was right to pass back near the end, Caulker didn't!! I missed the failed throw-ins though I watched every minute, and Isla was probably equally at fault getting his back in the way of his pass - Isla doesn't look around him enough when he's not got the ball sometimes .

Fair enough I suppose. :emoticon-0114-dull: What's he got about 50% of the season? Maybe we should call him the second 'alf Ramsey. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Very true, even I could do the:Running up blind alleys, giving the ball away, couldn't hit a cross to save his life.

Like many, we'd take half of £60K per week.

I have always thought that he can do a job for us (because of his pace), but when he came on on Tuesday he walked about a lot when the gal was in play. I wasn't impressed!

For someone who apparently performs so well at the training ground, I also wasn't impressed by the play of this seasoned professional footballer play, e.g. that attempted cross hitting Isla in the head, and at times he did seem to be just strolling about. Now if we had gone on to draw or lose that match after he came on, I'm sure everyone here would be a lot less forgiving, but then, perhaps I missed something?

You didn't miss anything Killy. I've defended him in the past but he was pretty sh*t the other night. Doughty looked far brighter.

Yes, I thought that he looked like a proper footballer and certainly not out of his depth in this match, as he later indicated, carefully following the script of Chris Ramsey's game plan.
