I know some isues can be quite controversial but, as Bob Hoskins once said, it's good to talk.

We all have an opinion on this so who do you think will win out of the following candidates for the FIFA post?

    Joseph S. Blatter (Switzerland),
HRH Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein (Jordan),
    Luís Figo (Portugal)
    Michael van Praag (The Netherlands).

I'll go with Hussein as I think many countries are so desperate to see the back of Blatter they'll all flock behind on man

Who I think will win... Blatter. I think he has the vote of a lot of countries outside of Europe, especially Africa and South America, and will win quite comfortably (unfortunately).

Who I want to win... Probably Al Hussein, but other than saying they all want to clean up FIFA, not really heard much of how they actually intend to do it.

I have this horrible feeling that Blatter will deal with anyone likely to defeat him just as he has in the past! I think we're stuck with him till he dies! The sooner the better!

I don't think that this really qualifies as an 'election' - we're not eligible to vote and receive suitably large bribes for doing so from at least two of those candidates - more's the pity.... <whistle>

A victory for democracy that countries which have offered little or nothing to world football will ensure a tyrant stays in charge.
