IMO. Harper to stay another year if he wants to do so. Great around the club. Oxley - offer him a new deal and send him back to Hibs as they should be back in the SPL next season. Dudgeon - offer him a new deal and loan him out to a championship club. Figueroa - gone. But thanks for your 2 years Figs. McShane - Offer him a new deal. Rosenoir - Already discussing a new deal. Quinn - Already discussing a new deal. Sagbo - Gone. end of. Our squad will need tinkering with for the PL next season. I would sell Curtis Davies if we get a good offer for him. Maguire needs to be involved more imo.
He is, and i feel for him,because he was a very promising player until the injury that came at crucial time in his development. I really hope he can pick up the thread he was on,and fulfill his potential. I'll try to follow his progress,after he leaves us.
Can anybody shed any light on the CJM scenario, I've tried tweeting him but got nothing back? Harper has already said he's going to retire from playing as he's been offered a punditry role (alongside coaching I believe) and we've been looking at back up goalkeepers all season; with Jakupovic here for another year I think that'll be the end of Oxley, especially considering Watson's progress (I'd wager at him going out on loan this season) and Bukran joining from Bolton. Rosenior I'd keep, the rest I'm not really bothered about although I think Quinn has been offered a new deal.
No, Erik Bukran (sorry, spelled it wrong in my other post), he's come in from the Bolton youth set up. Here's a video of him fluffing his lines for the first goal (although the backpass looks a bit too powerful).
Ahh missed that one but see he played for the U21s last night against Hartlepool. Anyone know Bolton have got rid of him?
They didn't, because he was a foreign youngster, he had to be in the custody of a legal adult while in the country and therefore FIFA wouldn't let him play for them anymore. He left Bolton and signed professional terms with us just before he turned 18, hewas recommened by GK coach Billy Stewart. He's actually pretty good, I'm surprised he chose us, it sounds like there were other teams interested.

I don't even think the HDM knew about it, I found out from Deano about him. Apparently there's a rule that states if you're an under 18 working in this country you have to be in the care of somebody else, otherwise you can no longer continue to work. Because he couldn't get custody (which I think also includes accomodation and living expenses) anymore, he had to leave. Which given the fact that he was there for two years means they were probably going to release him anyway.
Completely OT for this thread but didn't want to start a new one as it's got something to do with contracts. I was looking for an official list of out of contract players in the summer, so went to FIFA website & found this article about Ronaldo when he was at Utd. I didn't realise that super agent Jorge Mendes was also the agent of one of the greatest players to play at Utd.
