Ramsey is QPR boss for rest of season
QPR caretaker boss Chris Ramsey is given the manager's job at the Premier League club until the end of the season.

    not a quite novice
Coaching career Ramsey was also a player-coach for the Naxxar Lions in the Maltese Premier League, and in the United Stateswas a player, assistant coach and coach for the USL PDL team Cocoa Expos.

In 1998 Ramsey began working for the Football Association (FA), holding the position of Regional Director of Coaching. While working for the FA he served as the head coach of the England national under-20 football team. During his tenure as the U-20 coach, Ramsey guided the team to the 1999 FIFA World Youth Championship in Nigeria. He was also the assistant coach of the England national under-16 football team at the 2000 UEFA European Under-16 Football Championship in Israel. In addition to his coaching responsibilities while at the FA, Ramsey was a scout for the England national football team under Kevin Keegan.[citation needed]

After leaving the FA Ramsey was the assistant coach at Luton Town until November 2000. Ramsey holds a UEFA coaching licence and a FA Coach Education Diploma. From 2001 to 2004 he managed Charleston Battery, during which time the club were 2003 winners of the USL A-League. Since 2004, Ramsey has worked as Head of Player Development at Tottenham Hotspur F.C. Reserves and Academy. In 2008 he was listed amongst the 30 most influential black people in football by The Voice, a newspaper for the black community.[4]

Ramsey left Tottenham Hotspur on 19 June 2014, following ten years of service to the club.[5]

In August 2014, he was appointed as assistant manager of the England U17 national team.[6] On 1 November 2014, he was appointed Head of Player Development and Academy Manager at Queens Park Rangers.[7] Following the resignation of manager Harry Redknapp in February 2015, Ramsay was placed in temporary charge, with first Les Ferdinand, and then Kevin Bond. [8] Ramsey was then given the job until the end of the 2014-15 season on February 12, 2015.

That's two then, two clubs who've given their jobs to 'caretakers' and hinted that they're bringing in somebody 'worth waiting for'.

Newcastle seem safe enough for now, despite a horrible looking fixture list for the next two months, but they should get enough points to survive.

QPR however, well, they best hope Ramsey keeps them up, unless their man 'worth waiting for' is Mary Poppins because if they drop they're in a world of ****.

Poyet's mistakes may have got him the job. Can't see many other managers making that much of a harsh of tactics as poyet did, they'll not get two on one on a flank again. Our **** up could have just led QPR into a false sense of security

He comes over as a decent enough bloke in his interviews, and I for one hope he does well and keeps the job, too many league managers are foreign imports imo, so its best of luck to the lad from me, and I hope we both stay up.

I like the bloke and wish him well ........ however, I can't see past their injuries & fixture list and think they're doomed.

Anyway, what happened to the 'dream manager' the owner was twittering about?

Laudrup won't quit his current contract.

I like Ramsey, seems a decent bloke but agree, they're still in the ****.

Laudrup had a poor season with Swansea til he got sacked, the guy is given way too much credit for the job he did with them for me.

He's managing some Camel punchers in Qatar for probably stupid money, says a lot about him in my opinion.
