I've just registered my number with these people. http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html It takes 28 days for your number to appear on the register, and you're not supposed to receive any marketing calls after that. Anyone else use it and know how effective it is?
My new company are responsible for those ****ing texts you get about PPI. They send thousands out every day. I would never have joined if they made it obvious, they told me it was a telecoms company. At least I can take my number off the system now
Sounds like you could help out your fellow not606'ers. People who get PPI messages should post their mobile numbers in this thread and toby will take care of it
It's so ****ing bad, I swear this is a pop-up office and one day I'll turn up to find it all gone. My ****s are the ones that text you first saying bla bla...you might be owed £52645643...bla bla..., apparently they don't cold call. If I ever get a call from one of the ****s in my office whilst I'm working I'll go mental Post your mobiles and I should be able to get it sorted. I'd also need sort codes and acc numbers to make sure you guys never get a text again

I'm only sysadmin/support You have people on here who work for the oil industry, banks, the government, KFC, ex-army, etc... I doubt my ****y company that send a few annoying texts that, in the end, result in people getting their own money back from banks is THAT bad. They're still ****s though
The mental gymnastics we go through to justify our existence, eh? I once had some 18 year old fella get his mum to phone up and ask for the thousands of pounds that he blew that day to be refunded. She tried to appeal to our common decency - it was hilarious
