This is a ridiculous thread. If any company in the world was talking about their achievements of the past 10 years they'd have their current logo on it. Close.
But if they then changed their logo 5 years later would they airbrush a picture from 5 years ago celebrating their first 10 years?
I do think his eminent Doctorness has never read George Orwell's '1984'. Just like the totalitarian powers in that book, he is trying to rewrite history....
This is not meant to be about the badge having changed, this is about how petty Allam is being to change a 3 year old picture to include a badge from today. As has been said you wouldn't expect a picture of Stuart Elliott or Ian Ashbee from say 2006 to include the new badge, nor would you expect a picture from the 60s/70s to have the KC involved. We wouldn't photoshop today's players into our play-off final win either. It was a different time and should be left alone.
Not sure where i sit on this now, always been against the name change, but when i'm wearing a city top or anything with the badge on my little 17 month old boy will now point at the at the badge and say tiger and do a little roar, so it seems as tho Allam's convinced him
Maybe someone should start desiging a new badge in readiness for next season. The club could even run a competition ie, whichever design is choosen they get voucher to spend at club or something. Sounds like been back at school, but it's the fact the club have involved the fans. Didn't Ehab say that the badge was rushed through because the shirt was already designed and a badge was required rapidly?
Exactley, so why not play them at their own game, have a badge designed in plenty of time for the new kit....that way no excuses from owners for NOT using it. Advertise that there is going to badge design in/on local media, matchday programmes, websites and social media, that way supporters can get involved if they wish.
On the contrary,I think he has read it..... He seems to be following the work of the "Ministry of Truth",where Winston Smith works..
My granddaughter, who was 2 at the time used to do the same when I bought my grandson his first kit. That had the old badge on. So it isn't down to. Mr Allam. I hear HappyTiger does something similar. .
