In spite of my dismal record when it comes to posting songs for the terraces, (or at least songs that people think are worthwhile) here I go again - not exactly undaunted knowing I face the harshest of musical and literary critics on this site - into the breach once more! "I thought strikers were only true in fairy tales, Meant for top four clubs, but not for us; Premier League was out to get us, That's the way it seemed; Disappointment haunted all our dreams. But since Dam joined City, We N'Doye every goal; Not a doubt, There'll be more. He scores goals Oooh, We are Hull City And weeee N'Doye Yeah he's the DamBuster, Dam N'Doye; He's the DamBuster, Dam N'Doye" Well, there you go folks. Some of my previous efforts have been criticised for being too long. This one isn't so long but if people prefer, they can just sing it from, "He scores goals....", and then repeat the last verse for as long as you like. I think that would still work and still picks up the thread of the tune. Anyway, that's my contribution for what it's worth.
I've given mine a thrashing through the last 55 years. I think he is referring to a song made famous by "t'munkiz" on TV (tha'nose).
Fair enough , I guess I deserve that if I'm going to correct other peoples spelling. Shall I assume you restricting your comments to sarcasm, you see no value in the song?
No, mate, I'm familiar with the Monkees' song "I'm a Believer". Fair do's - you've had a go, but it'd be pretty difficult to learn/sing/fit in all the words/ sound clearly. Sorry re the sarcasm.
Not really a chant more of a song I don't think it would work. How about the Shane Long chant He scores goals N'Doye He scores goals He scores goals N'Doye He scores goals He scores goals N'Doye He scores goals Ohhh N'Doye He scores goals
Or...... Everywhere he goes, Dame(Or N'Doye) scores goals DAME N'DOYEEEE DAME N'DOYEEEE DAME N'DOYEEEE

N'Doye yourself. He's better than you think. N'Doye yourself. We'll soon be in the pink. N'Doye yourself, N'Doye yourself. And have another drink. HOY!!
