Liverpool for me they just look light, it's really only 2-4 players they have to totally rely on to help them, Gerrard-Sturridge-Henderson-Sterling-Coutinho who himself isn't playing as good as last year, and neither is Sterling. I think they need much more than that if they want to make the top 4. Same could be said for Spurs with their reliance on Kane and Eriksen, but I don't know I just feel Liverpool are more light.
What about Arsenals reliance on Sanchez? Arsenals hopes of a top 4 finish are all based on keeping him fit
Sanchez is our best player, but he's not our only player, we have the most goal scorers this season than any other team with 18 players...I don't get this nonsense about a big club having a great player and then suddenly everyone says oh they only rely on him, all big clubs have one star player who does a **** load of work for them, we've had many before, aka Thierry Henry. Many times this season we have shown we are far more than just Sanchez, including just recently, Sanchez started VS City but he didn't have one of his best games and it was people like Cazorla who ran the show, and btw Cazorla was voted our best player for the past 2 months, he has been very influential and helpful to us. With or without Sanchez we will get top 4....Lest we forget, we didn't have Sanchez last year and we still got top 4, not to mention we also competed for the league, were 10 points better off than now, and also won a cup. Sanchez has been great for us and will take us places, but we aren't going to fall apart and die without him. We have many key important players for us like Giroud, Cazorla, Ozil (who is finding his grove again), Walcott who just got back from injury and proving his worth with 2 goals already, Ramsey, and the list goes on. All these players are important and an integral part to the team, not just Sanchez.
After watching that, it mystifies me that we're 6th. Are United really better than us? You wouldn't think it based on the performances I've seen.
What's happened to Di Maria? Why is he turning average? Falcao we all know is a dead horse, I knew as soon as you signed him that he was going to flop, just had a feeling, but surprised Di Maria isn't lighting it up for you. When the season started a lot of people would rate Di Maria ahead of Sanchez, with the way things are going now, Di Maria isn't even fit to lace the Chileans boots.
please log in to view this image Gervinho still pondering his performance vs. Bradford to this very day. But for real that was an unreal PK shootout. More than made up for the rap 120 minutes before.
Not a bad mid-week for us with Spurs losing and Southampton drawing at home to a 10-man West Ham, only 1 point between us and Southampton now for 4th place, and only 2 behind United, so still very much in it after the weekend's disappointing loss.
Shows the type of person Van Pussy is denying Smalling the chance to get his hat-trick by stealing the penalty from him
Needs every goal he can get at the moment, poor bastard. And speaking of goals, I see Falcao, who United fans were drooling and bragging about when they signed him, fails to score yet again, and we thought Torres was bad.....
We dodged a bullet on that one. Its not even the lack of goals that's most concerning. Atm he contributes nothing.
Well besides taking 350k a week off them in wages, which apparently works out at over £18m! What a waste! But i suppose its lucky they got such a master tactician in lvg getting the best out of him
Falcao hasn't recovered from that injury and isn't suited to the pace of the premier league. Very expensive flop.
