It is better at some basketball games. Maybe we should import some of this lot. The shirts would be just about right for them. Funny how 1 flare in an open air stadium has PC Corcoran in a tizzy but loads of flares in an enclosed stadium don't seem to cause any problems. No one tutting and telling people to sit down either. Love it after about 2 minutes when they get started then immediately have to go off whilst a Greek equivalent of Roary rolls about.
I know, here I go again but with our fishing heritage (hardly a family in Hull not touched by it in some way) how the hell has anybody let that Lord Line building go the way it has. Something legally could have been done years ago, but no one in any position of power has the will (or brain) Bloody disgusting.
Or the power to do so? Who owned the Fish Dock? Was it bought by a property company who had it filled and re-developed? Is it Manor Properties?
I love this building. The design and the location has appealed to me for ages. If it was down south, it would have been developed by now. But they have priced it far too high for Hull.
Well these greedy bastards should have some respect for the history of the city where they make their money.
Manor Properties own the Lord Line and the buildings next to it, but the other two sides are owned by someone else, which I think is one of the problems.
We've got the reckitts chimney. I'm sure manor property have plans for converting it into flats as we speak.
Why are people obsessed in having everything built near castle St? It's the artery of the city and we swamp it with everything! We have a large city why not move things about a bit? Thats why castle St needs upgrading because of the amount of traffic that goes through it! Why not have something west or North or is that too sensible?
Get pucked Gerahty, you pucking clown shoe. As Mozza once said, ' Don't plagiarise or take on loan'. **** him, It's too good not to.
It's actually a good site for this development, it's already half cleared for Prinny Quay West(which obviously isn't going to happen now), it needs developing with something else.
Take your rugby league head off for a minute and think about it. A 5,000 seat arena is not much bigger then Brid Spa. Where you a member of the Hull Fc fans group who campaigned for the KC to be 15,000 capacity stadium by any chance?
Your probably right. How stupid of Leeds to build a 10,000 indoor concert arena. FFS Manchester City's new Academy Stadium seats 15,000. What Hull needs is some people who have actually left the city boundary in the last 20 years and see what other cities are doing. People with vision, not OAP's from OPE.
