The post was clearly tongue and cheek, I was replying to a post that pretty much made out Phelan was doing Bruce's job.
I agree with the comments re Meyler , plenty of endeavour and honest graft but falls short most weeks in my eyes. He is far to lackadaisical when in possession and not aware of what is going on around him more often then not. But hey ho he is part of the team and I will back him like we all do and should on the pitch but simply not good enough at this level.
I wouldn't say Villa controlled the midfield, even if they had the ball they did nothing with it. From watching online it was noticable that we got to about the 70th minute and I had to really think to name someone Villa had in midfield aside from Gil, even then it was Delph I remembered because of that dreadful shot he had that ended up about as far from the goal as it started. I don't think we can say them lacking in the final third is purely down to us doing a job on them either. We've complained about our failings going forward, but we've scored near enough twice as many goals as Villa this season. They're dreadful regardless of how well we did or didn't play last night.
I didn't even realise Scott Sinclair was playing last night, until he was subbed off and that was in the 59th minute.
Oh no, what will I do now I have that vital information? Oh yeah, go on with my life like a normal person rather than someone who gets upset over a forum, like you you poor soul.
You're not the only one...http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...t-on-twitter-to-scott-sinclairs-performance/?
No me neither. When i saw Joe Cole warming up i nudged my lad, he went they've got Sinclair on the bench anarl!!! Oops. always liked Joe Cole, shame always came across as a decent lad, what happened?
When he firs got the ball the first I thought of was Helen Flanagan. Show's you the way his career has when the first thing that comes to mind is a 2 bob soap star/reality star/glamour model.
Who's getting upset? You come out with these posts that make you feel big and clever but you never realise how much of a **** you look.
A pretty bad knee injury happened. Cole was absolute class, but injuries kept him away from his full potential. He had a really good season alongside Eden Hazard at Lille, but that's about it since his Chelsea days.
From behind the away dug-out last night, junior and I gave him a little chant of 'Joe Cole, he used to be good...'
No, actually. You must've been in the special needs unit. Not my fault you can't understand certain words, vous putain idiote.
Who said I couldn't understand it? Now you're just making things up, suppose you're used to that what with all your imaginary friends.
