****ing United-supporting Ladyboy from the Fail: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...-scores-Premier-League-goal-club-late-on.html Rose touched the ball, so it wasn't a pen (did he ****), and Kane wasn't offside when Eriksen took his freekick (no mention that it wasn't a foul in the first place). Does the Fail get all its reporters from Surrey and 'independent' FA panels?
Can - easily our best signing of the Summer. I'll stick my neck out and say he would of been the difference between first and second last year, hes the perfect CM, we need to hone his abilities, get him driving at defenses ala Gerrard. Such a shame we have no able CBs to allow him to do so.
He's that good though, that I feel its worth trying Lovren at the back again. Can needs to play in midfield. He does more from defence that our midfield 2.
I imagine there were incidents where Spurs could have complained as well, overall there was nothing that swung the game in either teams favour.
BTW it's a disgrace that Spurs got 6 yellows and will be fined by the FA and asked to explain themselves (not bad aside from handbags at the end) Whereas last week Everton's thugs only got 4 yellows and will face no further action No consistency
Not been so happy about three points in a long time as I was after this game. We needed the win and we had injury problems too, great result.
Shame that Arsenal just about managed to hold on against Leicester Hopefully today West Ham will give Southampton a good game Man Utd v Burnley is also quite even Chelsea v Everton should provide some comedy no matter what result
Another poor result at Selhurst and a failed European night at Anfield does NOTHING to help us beat Southampton
I'm not saying that we shouldn't try and hard and win these games - but Sterling and Coutinho have picked up knocks recently and it's crucial that we protect them for the league games. Lose/draw against Soton and I don't think we get top 4.
We need to beat our rivals and that includes Southampton but I don't want to see us sacrifice the cups to achieve that either, especially when that sacrfice could see us out of all three in a week!
I've been banging on for a while about a midfield that has Lucas and Can in it, as Can keeps improving I really think that they would be a great combination. No ****ers going tip toeing through that!
Congrats on the win guys, said on our board it was a really good game of football, obviously gutted as we left with nothing but such is life. It's probably the first loss of our season where Spurs fans aren't pissed about the result, we knew our boys gave a really good shift after going all out on Saturday against the South London Scum and therefore couldn't have asked for much more (except cutting out the defensive mistakes which has plagued our ****ing season!). Thought Ibe and Sturridge were great for you guys, Can looked pretty good too, where as Dembele and Lamela were our best outlets. Worst part of the game was Dowd, about 6 of the 8 yellows dished out weren't bookings and he gave away cheap fouls and **** decisions to both sides, putting a downer on what was probably one of the best games of the season so far between two top footballing sides. Worst ref in the league by a mile, we all spoke about him on our board before the game and surprise, surprise the prick delivered yet another awful performance. Bet he probably stuffed his face with an 18" pizza after the game, the fat ****ing oaf. Congrats on the win again, though I won't wish you good luck for the season as I want that top 4 spot for us
