The sheer volume of Benzema related rumours that have surfaced over the last 3-4 years makes me think there is some substance to them.

3. Raise the Clubs profile & help attract more players to the club in the future.

Hi all, first post on not606 so be kind Sorry £27m for Benzema? So we struggle with buying players over £14m and now we're bidding for players worth over £27m?

Its a shame we can't sell Fabs to Real instead of Barca, otherwise this rumour could have been true....

 

I would sign Rooney too even though he is always in trouble. Barring something really serious (like him killing someone etc) I don't care what players do in their own lives as long as they perform on the pitch

 

First of all welcome to the site! Secondly if we make a lot of money of the sales of Cesc and/or Samir then perhaps Wenger will finally splash out.

I really hope Wenger does reinvest ALL the money that is used from the sale of Cesc and all the rest, but i just can't see us buying a player over 27 million.
