TBH I don't see why LVG is being so defensive about it, he changed his game-plan, went long-ball to Fellaini and turned an away loss into a draw.

 

I'm not entirely sure, but what exactly is the rule that prevents any team from changing tactics to win a game. Last time I looked it was up to each of the managers of the teams on the pitch to decide how their team will play, not the opposition manager. Like WHU wouldn't have spent the entire game playing Route 1 to Carroll.

 

exactly, rather than cry about it and bring out a bunch of stats why not proudly point to the fact he changed his tactics and got something out of the game. I'd say he's starting to really feel the pressure

Most teams launch it into the box for the last few minutes when they're trying to salvage a draw. The fakht that they're losing suggests Plan A has failed. That said, the only reason it was a salvage mission was because we played most of the game without any strikers.
