I just hope Jozy and Gus never work for the same club again. This sh*t happened to Mannone and Wenger, it happened to Cabral and di Canio, and - accept it - people are just sometimes incompatible. Gus wants a Drogba, and Jozy is simply something other than that. That, I think, is the truth of it. I wish Jozy well. Others are welcome to their own opinion.

He is spot on. He just didn't fit in to Gus type of footy.

All the best to the lad

He is a decent player but you have to play to his strength. We never did. I rather have him up front with Defoe than the other 3 forwards we got pal.

Excuses Excuses and more Excuses = success in some peoples eyes, he was a total waste of space, we have done brilliantly to off load this useless deadweight, wrong team , wrong manager more like wrong attitude imo.

Altidore had absolutely no natural instinct as a footballer.

As such, he was always going to fail in a top league, twice in England, once in Spain.

System or otherwise, a sack of **** is a sack of ****, I couldn't single handed build a skyscraper, but I'd make as good a fist of it as Jozy as a Premier League footballer.

If you think Altidore is that **** then why say you keep a eye out and see how his career goes?

I, like most, will always keep an eye on most ex-Sunderland players. Do you have a point mate?

Dreadful footballer. Much like Wickham, Fletcher and Graham on their day.
