N'Doye Livermore Dawson Good all round display from the whole team. I thought Huddlestone looked a bit more like his old self as well. Still a way to go but certainly a step in the right direction.
N'Doye - An assist and a goal. Brilliant debut, holds the ball well and brings others into the game. We have 3 PL quality strikers. Bruce - I'll say it again. Nobody in the PL plays the central 3rd defender better than Alex Bruce, full stop. It allows our wing backs to press on without leaving our defence short changed. He just tackles, heads and wins the ball, we look much more assured with him in the side. Jelavić - Running, endless running. Scores a goal and generally must be horrible for any defender to play against.
I think you're the first person to mention Huddlestone. My how things have changed since last season.
N'Doye, the boy knows his role - touched off and ran to threaten, plus he finishes. McGregor, superb double save and steady throughout. Brady, finally filling his boots and our shirt. The rest were solid. AV should be down off that showing, so let's keep ourselves in check. In Bruce we trust (banner or no) UTT
N'Doye Jelly Bruce No one has mentioned Ramirez? I know it was only a cameo, but I thought he added a but of a different challenge tonight. At least he took the ball from Gil!!
Don't be daft - he did one good tackle in the second half - not dissimilar to the one against Man City - - other than that he constantly gave the ball away - almost every header and forward pass went to Villa - and as for that hoofed slice near the end - ffs - sunday league--the Prem's own stats show him bottom of the pile for winning aerial challenges and defending - thank ****, Bruce has finally seen sense and reinstated Macca, although I suspect Phelan had more than a say in getting him back in
1. N'Doye - great opening game 2. Dawson 3. Brady thought Macca and Jelly stood out too - Meyler looked lost and didn't appear to chase back, can't understand why Quinn wasn't playing instead of him - nuf said about Junior - great result but Villa were **** - we really will need to up it against QPR who wont be that easy
N'Doye - yeah, I agree, by a country mile Livermore - as he got through a mountain of work in midfield and made up for Meyler not quite being at the races Dawson - because he's totally unruffled in his position, and when he did get caught out he took a yellow for the team *Moment of the night definitely goes to Greegs for THAT double save, truly unbelievable.
http://www.squawka.com/players/alex...eason-2014/2015#126#all-matches#1-25#by-match He's played in all 5 PL victories this season - is this a coincidence? Did Villa score? No. The end. vvvvvvvvvv It's all just bullshit.
1. N'doye 2. Jelavic 3. Dawson I also thought Hernandez was very good when he came on - still much more to see from him I think. As for N'doye - not only a great goal and great assist, but great hold-up play and control throughout. Very exciting.
N'Doyeh - for me he was like a terrier , but the reaction to the save is something we has sorely been missing in the Prem . Livermeh Bradeh
N'Doye - Absolute class, have we found the next Benteke? TWT, but very promising. Elmohamady - Purely for what he did when Cissoko was on the floor after being shot and another tireless performance. McGregor - I left before the double save, needed a piss. But from what everyone has told me, it was amazing.
N'Doye Jela McGregor Second and third choices could have been any of the team, a solid performance everyone played well.
