I wonder if Sunday night's shenanigans have actually helped Pearson out here. Presumably, the FA won't want to be seen as providing any additional pressure to an already precarious situation.

Done, your problem now though is if he gets ditched in the near future you'll just think it's another bit on this thread and not a sacking.
