In that time we've also moved into a proper world class stadium which we have fully paid off as well.

  3. Your next match is a very difficult away game to Crystal Palace, whereas as we have an easy 3 points, at home, against the Spanners.

For those who are saying that the Power-Shift has definitely happened (and I am not one of them), the argument is far from over.

The key thing is that you boys are debating the matter in an open and lively fashion, which is exactly what I was after.

    No wumming, please.

He doesn't even know the meaning of 'owned', yet trots it out time and time again in the hope that it will stick.

It's actually one of his failed tactics. When he's been shown up, he tries to use the same language against the person who's rinsed him in a desperate attempt to try and save some face. Obviously it is completely meaningless and clear to everybody that he's lost the argument (and the plot), but believing his own delusions, he ploughs on making a Tit out of himself regardless <ok>

    according to HIAG it does.

to all other reasonable and sensible Spurs fans [ie every other Spurs fan i know] it is a long way off ! they recognise that in last 20 years what we have achieved compared to themselves and they know they need to be in CL on a regular basis and also move to a new stadium to compete financially etc.

  6. No one has said that there has been a Power-Shift - read the opening post to this thread.

It was a Gooner who first said that there was a shift in power, but us Spurs fans have been firmly rooted in reality, not daring to believe that the power has been shifting.

And, of course, we won't know if it has shifted until the end of the season.

I'd like to meet them since all Spurs fans I see are the opposite, HIAG's views are mainstream amongst most Spurs fans, in fact some would even label him a moderate from some of the other bat **** insane things you will catch Spurs fans saying.

For a club like Spurs, it is a big deal. If they win it, they will be bleating on about it for years.

For the big clubs they have bigger competitions to concentrate on.

i work with 3 Spurs fans, 2 of my best mates are Spurs fans, and they are quite level headed and realistic. they obviously enjoyed themselves since Saturday, but they know one game doesn't make a season or indeed a Power Shift

I see that Harry Kane was diving again tonight to try and cheat a penalty and then again to win the free kick for Spurs equaliser.

Fortunately justice was done in the end when Balotelli sunk the spuds with the winner <ok>

i see HIAG didn't answer my questions, perhaps he can't read through the tears tonight.

so i will post them again now:

question 1 do you actually go to any Spuds games ?

question 2 or are you a armchair supporter only ?

question 3 have you ever seen your team win the league ?

He was ducking questions earlier when I asked him how, as he claimed, that Walcott makes us a one man team when Sanchez has scored 18 and we have 19 different scorers.

Of course he had made another comment that came back to haunt him, so he decided to bottle out of answering it (presumably content to make a Tit out of himself yet again)

HIAG will ditch these wum threads that have blown up in his face (again) until around 3am this morning, where in a sweaty stupor his resistance will break and he will try to make a witty comeback, which inevitably will only dig a deeper hole and add to his humiliation once again. Such is the sad life of HIAG. <cry>

He won't because he knows it will make him look like an idiot (although by ducking them it also makes him look like an idiot too)

I would still like an answer to my question to him about how Spurs reaching the QF of the champions league means that they went further in the competition than Arsenal reaching the final in 2006 ?

  18. I used to be a season ticket holder for several years, including a member of the Golden Cockerel Club.

These days, because of the nature of my work, it is difficult for me to get to see Spurs at home, although I do occasionally travel to see them, when that is convenient. As my sons grow older, I will endeavour to take them to games but, again, that will depend on my work.

I understand that it is difficult to get season tickets, these days. That will probably change when the new stadium is built.

These days, I am more than of an armchair supporter, but that isn't by choice (see my answer to Q1, above).

No, but I am confident that I will, one day.

First off, however, I look forward to the day when we become the dominant force in football in North London. That day has been coming for a long time (although I cannot say if it has definitely arrived, yet).
