Not a polished performance by any means, but given we played like a pub team last time at home this was an encouraging night and a vital 3 points. Villa were poor but you can only beat what is in front of us. Plenty of positives we can take into this next run of games.
Next 4 games: QPR, Stoke, Sunderland, Leicester. Need to take advantage. If we do, we're safe. Also: Philip Buckingham @PJBuckingham 59s60 seconds ago An undisclosed fee it might have been but SB says #hcafc paid £2.2m for N'Doye. Also reveals DND took a huge pay cut to sign for City.
Why did nearly everyone stand up with sarcastic applause when he eventually gave us a free kick? He was ****e!!
Apparently Villa have scored 12 goals in their 25 league games, less than any other team in the prem has ever scored at that point. We gifted them two of those and made them look like world beaters! Today was about the result, just as the QPR game is. Decent, flowing football is a distant second at this point.
I was looking and couldnt see it. Top marks to the Villa fans some real black humour from them tonight. Half time their subs warming up and Cleverley, I think, knocked one into the empty net. All The Villa fans went mental was funny as ****. Our fans singing Lambert Lambert give us a wave and sacked in the morning.
And a real chance to break the record for the fewest goals ever in a PL season which is 20 goals. NBC said 2 weeks ago that they thought Villa were shoe ins to be relegated.
You forget, Curtis Davies was part of the defence in those games, the defenders we're playing now know their jobs and defend
I just spent a half hour cleaning out a drainage ditch from the big rain we had a couple days back. I smell like **** and rotten vegetation. Coulnt be happier right now after that victory!
