This sounds like a cracking performance from us. When we have had to play two games in a week, we have been ****e this season. Poor fitness all season.
Since when aren't strikers allowed to jump in front of a clearance outside of the box? Never seen anyone booked unless they kcik the ball out of a keepers hands! Madness
****ty 2nd half but we hung on and got the points. Need a better performance next time out, fair play to Leicester for the fight they shown but at the end we edged it.
Well thank **** that's over, wasn't pretty AT ALL. We really straggle with midweek games, the **** we gonna do when we play C. Palace, Monaco, Everton, QPR, and a potential last 8 in the FA Cup in the space of 2 weeks?!
Far from satisfying performance. A lot to work on. Fair play to Leicester, that's one of the best away performances I've seen at the emirates this season
Strong first half, then lost concentration, seemed to think the job was done. When they scored it made it a nervy finish but that's three points in the bag. Liverpool and Tottenham still drawing so far too.
Didn't deserve that but when you give goals away like we did and don't score the chances we got then what do you expect? Good luck for the season. Hope you finish above Spurs and that prick Harry Kane.
Also let's hope that Sanchez isn't injured, That knock to his knee looked pretty brutal and we need him badly for the run in.
I'm pretty sure it's a free kick if the striker intentionally blocks the clearance. however I don't think it's a booking (I might be wrong), and if the striker has his back turned and is walking away its clearly unintentional and is just crap from the keeper. only saw the last 10 mins, but the ref was shocking even in that time. saw at least 4 mistakes that he made (giroud pushed in the back, twice on ozil ignoring a foul, goalkick against giroud). refereeing has been poor for all teams all season. reason is there is no incentive for ref's to improve. until they actually face punishment of some sort (even dropping down a division for a few games), and get rewarded for good decisions (moving up a division. seriously, when was the last time we had new refs in the prem. always the same every year) this will not change.
