I'd pick joe allen over a steven gerrard that has already played 180 mins in the last week. Don't get too surprised if Eriksen has the freedom of Anfield tonight

I meant FK's that are crosses for others, I agree his shots from FK's are still pretty good sometimes.

    Interesting team...

Gerrard and Henderson in a midfield 2...
    Ibe or Markovic at RWB?

Who'd going to pick up Erikson?
Hopefully Coutinho can prove he's the better of the bargain number 10.

    And Sturridge starts <diva>

Again this silly notion that discussing the weakness of our team selection is somehow code for us not backing the team <doh>

Maybe people are worried because, despite our form, a huge part of that form in Lucas is now missing. Instead, we get Gerrard and Henderson. One can't play in midfield because he doesn't have the legs or defensive discipline/awareness and the other has been largely average this season.

Still...our team is brilliant, our form is great, we've got loads of pace upfront and we're guaranteed a win due to a solid midfield <ok>
    Happier?

That would suggest he nearly scored a cracking OG from our own free kick <yikes>

Nah if you don't worship the ground Gerrard walks on then you're not a true fan mate.

Shame no Sterling but look at the pace..

Moreno, Markovic, Ibe, Sturridge & Coutinho is quick over 5 yards to get away in the middle.

Can't go wrong with a bit of speed* <whistle>

*Now wait for the Sandra Bullock or Drug puns come in...

    Have you read the comments?

That is not not ****ing discussion is it!?

I'm not talking about everyone but people who don't even say what they'd prefer was put out? Just get the impression that they'd react like toddlers no matter what line up was picked.

Sorry but a lot of it is pathetic

"keeper made a save against Everton"

If he saved against them, would suggest he was playing for us... suggesting Gerrard nearly scored an OG <doh>

What you meant was "for Everton" <whistle>
