I agree it was wrong what Pearson said to the Leicester fan bit what right did the fan have to abuse Pearson ?
The fan was wrong as well, but as a football manager, you have to accept that in a crowd of thousands of people, there will be all sorts of abuse hurled at you especially if you aren't showing enough fight on the pitch. But one thing you should never do is get caught up in one v one confrontations with fans. A manager has to be composed and rise above it in situations like that because as Pearson has realised now, when the press catch you and videos get leaked, you will get asked all sorts of questions and you will be heavily scrutinised. Not just the individual, but the club as a whole. Not only does it raise concerns about how the manager copes under pressure, but the lack of professionalism shown reflects very poorly on the club and the owner. The manager will be held accountable for his conduct, no matter whether he is being verbally abused or not. And he has to accept that responsibility. If he can't, then he isn't in the right profession.

I can see where your coming from and do agree, but it kindof leaves a carte blanche to any mindless idiot to say any disgusting, hurtful, racist, derogatory, sexist thing to any famous person/football manager as the expectation is on the football manager to ignore it rather than the expectation to be on the idiot to act in a decent manner. I mean as an example (not saying this happened in this case - but just an example) if a mindless idiot starts saying he's going to kill/maim/rape your mother, daughter, son, grandmother - then how would you feel and you'd want to react agaist the idiot regardless of if your a road sweeper, a office worker or a football manager!
From my own personal point of view, I think if any racism or sexual violence is being normalised within crowds, then club security have every right to escort individuals out of the club and hand them punishments. However I don't recall this specific case to be to such extremes. A fan was expressing his dissatisfaction with the manager. Do I agree with the manner in which he did it by using profanities to personally insult him? No. But that's not the point. As a fan who is paying his hard earned cash to watch his side perform, he has the right to react however he wants (within reason obviously). Managers have to accept certain levels of abuse handed to them as part and parcel of the game, whether it's due to a side underperforming or whether it's banter. That is a given when it comes to the job and you need to learn to handle your feelings. As a specific example, Wenger has been subjected to chants about molestation and child abuse (notoriously due to his youth policy) from rival supporters. If Wenger can handle such levels of sick chanting and singing without having a meltdown, then so can other managers.
Maybe that's why they get paid so much. Nobody should be expected to have to put up with some of the extreme and 'vile' (as the Daily Mail might phrase it) abuse that is thrown at both players and managers. However, it should work both ways. From the photos I have seen, Pearson went too far with his attack on the Palace player and, like Pardew when he headbutted the Hull player, his club should have sacked him immediately.In any other industry that would have been the outcome.
Half right. This set of lads will always continue to fight. We've not lost a game by more than two goals in over a year now. Even when we play badly you'll do well to hammer us. Personally hope you play as few of your faster midfielders as possible. I think if we're to get anything from this game then it'll be because we've hit you on the break with Mahrez, Schlupp and Kramaric who are all rapid. Reckon we're going to lost this though so i'll say 2-1 to Arsenal. Koscielny, Welbeck and Kramaric with the goals.

I must say that wenger has lately (last 2-3months) been doing what the fans want..... Talks openly about transfers, complete deals before the final day and now he benched Ramsey and started a very attacking starting 11. I'm a big fan of Rosicky! Rosicky assist to Alexis. I reckon we'll see Ozil, Sanchez and Walcott continually swapping across the front 3 to pull the Leicester defence around and create space.
