To highlight the point, Aston Villa recently had their lowest home attendance (for a league game) since 1999, so top marks to the club for spotting how much of a draw they are to a crowd these days when deciding the categories for games.
It didn't quite win the 'lowest attendance of the season' award, the 21,467 last night narrowly beat the West Ham attendance of 21,275. Though West Ham was also a £35 midweek game.
Don't talk crap. In my lifetime we may never get to see Hull City appear in another Cup Final. This was an overpriced league match with two poor teams opposing each other. If the club had a bit of foresight they would have reduced the price...but we are talking Allam here....so no f*****g chance. I have happily paid my £13.30 for the QPR match and can't wait to go. I'm sick and tired of numpties like you saying we should be there. Everything has a value attached to it and £35 notes is not value for money for a league match. But, if you want to buy my ticket for the next overpriced match I will gladly take up your offer.
