The UK is loaded full of takeaways but what is your favourite and why? What do you go for when you get a takaway? (as in what dish)

    Pizza not an option???? <doh>

Pizza for me, I have the hot vegeterian special (just easier than asking for pineapple, onions, chillies, peppers, sweetcorn etc) and remove the mushrooms and put spicy beef on it. With a portion of fries and a pot of mint yoghurt :)

I do like to have a BBQ sauce based pizza from time to time, they are a bit sickly though

I also like a good kebab after a few beers

I'm still too unhappy with the price of Dominos to be able to include them.

Billy's Butty Van does an excellent breakfast, the usual items plus tasty Ulster Fry.<ok>

Only gripe is that he doesn't park the van away from puddles.<grr>

Come on Billy, I'll give you a 10/10 if you sort the puddle issue out.<ok>

I think it depends on your mood - and which one you're walking past at the time <laugh>

Love fish, chips, mushy peas or curry chips/rice but equally like pizza [not Domino's - total rip off] only you can't really walk along eating that so it's a take home that one.

Recently watched some of the man v food vids and wish we had half of the eateries they have in the US - the New York Katz's hot beef sandwiches [a full lb of meat] are amazing:

Take away... Well.... For me Chinese is the worst due to them being poisoners who never eat what they serve. Msg ****s

Pizza is out for me as melted cheese gives me headaches

I reckon a basic chipper is better than most options then

my favourite is Dominos. I know it's not real pizza, but "American style" pizza, but they taste so good.

Agree with the comments about Domino's over priced and overated.

Don't mind the odd curry, but prefer to go out for one, not really into pizza, fish and chips every Preston Guild, Chinese is my favourite, with the occasionally kebab after few beers <laugh>

The only Pizza places around me are Dominos (see my comment) or the kebab shop stupp which is just melted cheese and nothing else, this is why they were dropped from the OP. :emoticon-0103-cool:

haha was out in the van yesterday and there were loads of dancing Dominos signs out and about advertising some special deal (people dressed as signs obv - some more enthusiastic than others)

Dominos is rank nasty though... every pizza tastes the same, something chemically about them

A good chippy is hard to beat but there's not many of them.

  18. We get the dancing Domino workers quite often around here. Never had a Dominos pizza though, never get Pizza Hut either. I either get a freshly made one from the supermarket or order from a local takeaway.

Pizza's can be like cardboard - you either want authentic Italian hand made takeaway - we've got one not too far away - or authentic American i.e American Pizza Slice .... lovely

    Curry by far <ok>

But I do like Dominos but only ever get them if part of a deal or have a 50% off voucher. Their garlic bread is delicious.
