I didn't see/hear the press conference. Who are the 8 or 9 first team players out!? Bertrand, presumably Targett. Alderweireld. Who else? Disappointing if Morgans had a set back after returning in the second half against QPR.
Think we may see just the one change then from Saturday - Maya in for Targett. Would definitely keep both Elia, and Mane in the side.
Thanks. Forgot about Long (oops). Not as bad as it sounds then as we've been missing Rodrigues and Gallagher all season anyway and Mayuka and Isgrove are unlikely to be involved even if fit. Dissapointing if Morgan can't even make the bench. We'll have to play 3 CBs in one formation or other. Don't like not having a CB on the bench.
I reckon West Ham will be targetting our left side with both our LB's out. Over on KUMB they reckon Amilifantano(sp?) will play, reckon he could be a threat for them if so.
What they should do is stick Downing on the right so he can cut inside Yoshida. Look at Hazard's goal against us. Opposite side but point still stands.

Problem with Hazard wasn't cutting inside, it was pace and forcing Maya to defend from his weaker foot (and the fact it was Hazard). Playing LB I bet Maya would rather someone cut in and attack his stronger side than go at the byline with pace where he will be fighting a losing battle every time unless they let him get tight.
