Like you, I don't get on with people who say, "this is who I am, like me or love me!" That's a very poor excuse for being a twat. If someone knows what they are like, then they have the ability to stop themselves acting like a twat, and the fact is that they simply choose not to. That, with respect, is not what I was referring to. What I was referring to is the fact that some people are born optimists and some are born pessimists. Some are born leaders and some are born sheep. These people cannot, generally, change who they are. The old saying, "you cannot make a silk purse from a sow's ear" springs readily to mind.
