I will get some stick for this but Jon Stead is the sort of player we need, strong, hold the ball up bring players into the game. Like a upgrade on Stead!
Couldn't agree more. These are the type of players whose guts and desire more than make up for any technical deficiencies on their part. SB should be very proud of his son and Alex fully deserves his place in the starting line up. Talk of nepotism is just plain ridiculous.
Dear me, he's 31 and hasn't even got a good goal scoring record in League One, we might as well sign me.
And he's been tried, and failed, at the top level before plus he's been bombed out by his hometown club, who he loves and the fans love him, because he isnt good enough. And they're a championship side. Why do we think 1 good game against Chelsea makes him a Premier League striker? For me this is the worst kind of Armchair Pundit, if Bradford hadnt beaten Chelsea in front of the tv cameras there wouldnt be a single person in the ****ing world who even thought for one second that signing Stead would be a good idea.
Yes you will as it is a ridiculous suggestion. Jon Stead. Christ, this is why none of us are managers
I was quite reassured for a while that no one had taken him to task over the Stead suggestion, as its shortcomings were so obvious that they didn't need spelling out. But you three have let me down.
