Some of them are, some of them aren't. Eriksen was very good value for money, for example, as was Chadli.
It's nice to see our youngsters doing well, though. One of them killed off Leeds on the weekend, which was nice.
I was sure that you were going to go for his Community Shields claim, Gerrez.
    ****ing Community Shields! <laugh>

Yes it was nice - Out of all the loans we've had from you, Kane was the least impressive, yet now he is one of the top 10 Premiership players on current form - it's a funny old game!!

  6. I can see that this debate is starting to get lively. Good! That's what this thread is all about - lively debate.

    So, to summarize...

Everyone agrees that it's possible that the power is beginning to shift, although no one can quite tell for certain if the power has finally shifted.

That is very much in line with my own thinking.

    correctly summed up.
every time Spuds win a game they think the Glory Days are back !
in reality they are a middle sized club which wants to be a big club, and they will always be behind/below Arsenals stature until they have matched their achievements. This will take them 20 years to match, subject to Arsenal not winning further trophies, and of course City Chelsea United Liverpool not winning anything either !

In your analogy the Greens could win the election, but there'll be no shift to them until they match the Tories years in power.

His analogy is spot on, your understanding of it is however wide of the mark. What he's saying is one year in 35 won't match the superiority/domination Arsenal have shown.<ok>

  13. Thing is this, though, Ozzie. Arsenal have been content in always coming a mere 4th and getting booted out of the CL (usually in embarrassing circumstances) by the quarter finals. At Spurs, we're never satisfied with that. We want, and will always want, more. If the power-shift has occurred (and I'm not saying, for certain, that it has, yet) you not see this Spurs side squander chance after chance, as the Gunners have done.

As The Smug One, himself, put it - so eloquently, not so long ago - Whinger specializes in failure. I'm sure that you, above all Chelsea fans, would not disagree with you idol.

Indeed old boy, seemed to remember you getting royally humped 5-0 at the Quarter final stage by Real and for once a rampant Adebayor. Arsenals domination is so deep set into the psyche of Spurs as a club it has limited any future aspirations. Also all those "mearly coming 4th" years has paid for their move to the splendid keyhole stadium.

You have to remember though mate, that in HIAGs Parallel dimension, getting to the QF is going further than getting to the final (his actually words)
So it's no wonder that he honestly believes this power shift nonsense, in his dimension, it is true.
For everybody else it is just the delusions of a desperate Spud

    <laugh> What a desperate comeback.

and a paper thin attempt to sidestep the fact that Arsenal have been totally dominant over Spurs for decades.

    Keep diggin'

Why would I even attempt a comeback to your repetitive drivel?
All you've posted since we beat you easily on Saturday is a Scouse-esque "HISTORY!" whine.
I'm simply pointing out your desperation, going so far as to claim a child for your team, when the adult buried you and clearly loved it.

Don't worry though, you can always just post another smiley, claim that you're happy and remind people that you used to be good.

Well, clearly you did feel the need for a comeback because you tried to divert it away from the obvious gulf in success between our two clubs. The fact that it wasn't a very good comeback, kind of smacked of desperation.

As for 'Scouser-esque', again this is you clutching at straws. Spurs have won one game against us and here you spuds are acting like Arsenal are a spent force, so I've simply stated the facts - and you then proceed to have a mini meltdown <ok>

I didn't make a comeback at all, I merely pointed out your ridiculous hypocrisy and ludicrous rhetoric.
Your continued obsession with Spurs overreacting to a derby win with a late goal after going behind early on is equally ridiculous.
It's not like our players ran around taking a load of photos of themselves, is it?
