HI Carrick_Fan ere Mi name s Matthew n Im gong to b a 'internet sesation' Now I'd like you 2 gt 2 no me a bit more fanx #legend https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBiqWFEFdZcR-TZzLhMA5bA https://twitter.com/carrick_fan
The 'Wealdstone Raider' - became an internet sensation and he has nothing on our Matthew #teammatth Then Then
TBF, that was before matth started posting them himself. Some of the stuff being posted was out of order though IMO (not necessarily by you)
Matth regularly uses obscenities and references to genitals and that's when he replies to his fellow yoonited fans on their board.
Ain't saying they do, but YouTube vids are in the public domain and so is this site and the lad puts himself in the firing line, you'd think someone where he lives would monitor his internet use so if things get out hand he could denied access for a few days.
Depends what level of help is required. Individuals get given personal budgets nowadays so is often left up to them how they spend it.
Very true, but that still doesn't mean that his best interests are being looked after by those closest to him.
Ignore the backlash, what if he serious gets something positive out of posting those videos? It could be doing him good.
I agree, but he advertises them on twatter and on here, and if he gets slated or praised its his fault, there must be plenty off this site that have youtube accounts but keep them private. That's his problem, he's to open about himself.
Not on social media there ain't, if there was he wouldn't get the terrible **** he gets on twatter, it is from not only opposition "fans" but from utd "fans" and it sure ain't football related. His so called friends and followers tell him how great his videos are and that he should make more and he thinks they're being honest instead of setting him up for a fall. But its what it is.
I think were approaching from slightly different angles here I know he WILL get lots of **** for it, what I am saying is its not right that he does despite it being expected. There are legal boundaries to it too but very rarely are they implicated. I actually appreciate how brave he is wit it all tbh. He knew he'd get **** for the videos but did it anyway. He knew he'd get **** for announcing his sexuality but he's done that too. fair play to the lad IMO Still a annoying ****er mind
But its like you're praising him for putting himself in the firing line but disagreeing that he should take stick. His vids are pure ****e as far as serious content is concerned but funny as **** in entertainment value.
No, he should expect stick and I'm sure he likes it too (oh err). What I'm getting at is the boundary of that stick. We often see it on here were at least ten posters will be throwing every level of abuse at him, a lot being personal too. There are boundaries that people go beyond, people no longer have morals or respect for legalities etc (and I'm not one to talk on the latter btw)
The problem is if someone posts anything in response to him its seen as "bullying" because the lad has autism but it would be ok to make him bulletproof on here provided he's told to keep his repertoire of obscenities under lock and key when someone disagrees with his point of view.
See your right in that it would be seen as bullying but the autism aspect as no impact at all on the bits I'm getting at. The stuff I'm on about would be classed as bullying no matter who the person was or what issues they may or may not have. Its not just the words used either, its the number of users ganging up on him as well. That's not to say others say its bullying purely based on the autism aspect though. Just saying it isn't the case for me. Him having autism makes no difference to my opinion. Some people with autism are within the community without anyone realising, they live a very normal life. Others suffer much worse cases and need one-to-one care. Since I have no idea of the level of autism that matth has, I have no idea how it could possibly effect him. In the worst case scenario he'd probably completely misses most of the stuff anyway.
