Always blame the player. Once Rodgers threw the on Lambert you looked a threat last night, until then it was a shot from 25 yards and nothing else
I've NEVER blamed Mario once in all of this - he is what he is. If you read the post you'll realise I'm getting at Bron for the situation and not the player. I didn't reference Lambert at all, but since you bring it up he contributed one lame pea-roller from a half decent chance.
Don't know Ben Findon who compiled this list but he is having a laugh, reds and blues depending on their age will always pick players within their time supporting their club but this list is lazy and considering the wealth of talent that has played for both clubs down the years is a joke. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...y-best-ever-XI-in-pictures.html?frame=3190338 Wayne Rooney must have been chosen based on his yoonited career.
Why would that be the question when Lukaku was the topic of conversation However, to answer your question; because Borini, Lambert and Balotelli (the #levelsetters for the Lukaku argument) are all ****!
I in comparison to the level setters Mario. that would have changed nothing, both sides could still be playing and not have scored. Rodgers came to nullify the threat of Lukaku running at the back three and played wingbacks to prevent Coleman/Baines or Oviedo getting forward. The fact that the two closest chances from both sides came from Ibe and Coleman tell me all I need to know....both formations cancelled each other out and neither manager had the plan to make a difference
Yep. Good to see him stay on the pitch as a result of his good performance too, normally first off no matter what
Yeah, we played wing backs just for this game to counter your full backs... not the fact we've played that formation for the last 3 months.. although I guess we were just perfecting the system for this game and from Spurs on wards we'll go back to a back 4
Ming deserves a for the late save from Coleman, took a deflection of Sakho aswell. He's got to be given credit for an improvement in form
You're right was only 2 months... still means we definitely only played that way to counter your full backs though right
And Sakho has been passing the ball out for the last couple of months just to train for when Martinez would have the genius idea of marking everyone else and forcing him to pass the ball out
How quickly you came down from three months to two....lets see, did you play this way over xmas next?
