Before anyone slates me i am sorry about off topic posting its just we get by far the most traffic and know you all. I did post this on the cricket forum but its like a goast town its hardly been read so i thought some of you well travelled tigers may be able to help me out.

I am currently organising a social cricket tour to Holland for my best mates stag do. We are looking to fly over for a long weekend (Thurs-Mon) in early July 2012 and play two twenty20 fixtures. We are planning on playing 1 match in The Hague as we have free accomodation there and 1 match nearer Amsterdam.

Some of us a serious club cricketers while others are social cricketers therefore would like the standard of the opposition to be of an enjoyable social level so that everyone in our touring party has to opportunity to take part and drink lots of beer. We are looking for a club which could host an enjoyable game of T20 and be good hosts after the game (plenty of beer).

Any help will be greatly appreciated regarding organising a tour of this kind, anyone with contacts in cricket within Holland or even anyone that has been on a tour out there before.

Or even anyone who knows a cheaper supplier of coloured cricket kits?

Go onto the CI message board and put a thread up FAO HCCLOG, I believe he works in Holland.

I wouldn't worry about posting O/T stuff. Lambo has set this board up correctly in suggesting the balace should be all things football and Hull City with the odd O/T thread mixed in.

There's a balance to be enforced between Drakonian moderation (Hull City Online) and no moderation and virtually no football (CI). This board maintains that balance.

Haha. Everyone else i have spoke to (who have been on cricekt tours) think its a good idea due to the social aspect associated with cricket. We then arent getting up at 10am every day for 15 hours on the drink solid there is a little bit of a theme to it with kits and the like.

Remove the mixed aspect and insist on Women under 30 and I could possibly be swayed.
