So it looks like Pearson has gone. Not what i would have done, but we have a different thread for that so we will keep this one purely for the next manager.

Kevin Keegan is currently the favourite (why?) and at 5th favourite on betvitor we have Dennis Wise....

For me, i think Sherwood cant defend well enough and would be looking at Neil Lennon

Looking at sky's list, they're all far worse than Pearson. This is bollocks.

Martin Oneil is Sky Bets favourite, but i cant see that happening at all. Kevin Phillips is at 10/1. I think Neil Lennon will come in

Lennon would be the best option, I don't think he would make the jump though.

Pulis? Oh no. We missed the boat on that one.

Neil Lennon is a good shout. Not sure he would leave Bolton so soon though.

Neil Lennon is a legend here, he would get a very good chance of keeping us in the prem so I wouldnt completely rule it out. Even if we go down we stand a better chance of going up next season then Bolton

He proved at Celtic he can handle big pressure

Wouldn't be surprised if it's some one from the continent, probably some one I've never heard of!

Well so far the owners have appointed Sven and Pearson both managers well known over here

My only worry is how they came to them decisions. Sven was appointed as the big name manager and I think they appointed Pearson based on his past success here. So how do they look now for a manager now?

You're hardly going to get a credible manager when your heading into the Championship <doh>

Look at somebody with championship experience so he can start building and preparing for next season. That would be the sensible option.

Lennon would be the best bet for me. He could be long term and build something but also has top level experience albeit not in our premier league and understands the club. Shame Pearson can't take the role Terry Robinson vacated as he is very talented jn that area
