Not true at all. Bringing Fellaini on changed our play in attack. Not for the first time either.

At no point last season did Moyes make a single gane changing decision. Every manager gets it wrong. Some repeat the same mistakes but those that can change it are the ones at the top.

Your criticism of van Gaal is way over the top at times. A lot is warranted but sometimes in the midst of all the crap, he makes a good call or two.

Tbh mate there's nowt wrong with the spending or the players bought. Fault in our performance and style of play lies squarely with the guy in charge. Bit like Pelligrini at City although at least he knows how to put out a team with a common sense formation so he's probably a step ahead.

We were poot but how did west ham deserve to win? Seriously. I know we all watched it but it was a very even game. Both sides had chances, both keepers kept busy. We were statistically superior but west ham were a quicker side in attack.

The only reason West Ham are disappointed is because they conceded a very late goal. It could easily have been 1-1 20 minutes earlier.

Draw on balance seems a fair result.

Football really isnt simple at all. To demonstrate, that side above would have been slaughtered today against the very physical whu side. Fellaini would have to be involved (lvgs big mistake today).

It's not over the top at all. He set us up to fail to begin with. Sticking on 6'4" afro-man to punt the ball to was hardly genius, more the mark of desparation. Bloody hell it's the kind of thing you'd expect from Big Sam.

Above all UIR, what really tells about our manager is his mentality. He bottles it time and time again. I'll take anything but that.

I agree about Fellaini starting but anyone with a brain can see Rooney in midfield is ****e. Falcao up top is nowhere near as good as Rooney. And then we have 3 mf in Mata, Herrera and Fellaini sat on the bench. Secondly we need a settled back 4 but once again he keeps chopping and changing and nobody is gelling at the back. THIS sort of stuff is simple.

Whats he bottled? If anything he takes far too many risks.

And come on treble, youve admitted yourself its often a little ott.

The one major gripe I have is Herrera. However at times Blind, Carrick, Fellaini and Mata have been better and deserved their place. The one who hasnt is Rooney. Hes been awful as hes unable to influence the game as he would BUT.... He needs to be more adventurous himself. He doesn't go forward. Not a chance LvG has instructed him to stay as deep as he can at all times. Playing in midfield doesnt mean you cannot be involved in attack,

The only plus from the match today was the spirit shown and battling at the end by the team. LVG said that the first half was poor. Whose responsibility is it to address this?

I think LVG is still learning about the premiership teams. What SAF s teams over 20 years did away to battling teams like west ham is to match their physicality and battling first then the higher quality will come through. In the first half Falcao and van persie were jogging along. What was that about?

Is it though? Mata is an AM. Playing him in anything but that role is suicide. Fellaini plays as a number 10 whens hes at his best. Again, midfield is not his place.

Herrera is a midfielder and a very good one. He is unfortunately under investigation for match fixing so perhaps isn't fully focussed.

That leaves Di Maria, Blind and Carrick. Di Maria needs someone with pace to get in behind so him through balls and crosses are of more effect. Blind is brilliant and Carrick slows us down a little.

Playing Rooney there is not as mental as it seems. I dont want him to play there but hes better than Mata and more disciplined than Fellaini. The big issue is that he seems to have given up on going forward. That's a choice he makes as midfielders often decide between themselves who will go and who will stay back.

Rooney should be the one to go every time. If he has to play there, he needs to do it with one eye on joining the attack at every opportunity.

Herrera is in court im a month. Maybe after that he will be more involved.

lol ofcourse he cant be involved in attack, he's NOT a midfielder. He cant knit intricate passes from midfield. He's either predictable, hollywood or indecisive. His indecision means he gets caught on the ball and gets dispossessed time and time again. No wonder he goes deep. I dont blame Rooney at all.

UIR it is plain as day and has been for 2 months that we look clueless, pedestrian, void of ideas relying on individusl quality to do something, and often "backs against the wall" We sit 4th but are underachieving there is absolutely no doubt in my mind about that. And there is only one person to blame for that.

Van gaal did change it and over the season hes had us playing until the end. These are the things i am noticing but others are not.

Agree on rvp and falcao though. Rvp especially needs to put more effort in.

pretty fair assessment of you today, as for Christian smiths remark about physicality, another ref would've seen you down to 8 or 9 players, Van Persie with elbows in the face, Rojo's double hack and finally Shaw, who did go.

UIR if you're playing with 2 up top then Mata 》》》 Rooney anywhere in midfield. Everyday of the week and twice on sunday. And it's Sunday :p
